Argh... i just stoned in front of the com doing nothing today. kinda suck...
Anyways, I just feel like blogging about something that struck my mind... well...
may sound random, but was thinking about
--> Expectations in a friendship
Sometimes when we actually lend a helping hand to our friends and those around us, we usually expect a positive reaction from him or her. What some expect may be as simple as a word of thank you, or a smile... whereas others may expect something more, for instance one may hope that by helping others, he will be more well-liked by his friends.
But, are the ones who expect more the ones who gain the most?
Those are the people with hidden intentions, and they would suffer and end up being disappointed if they did not achieve their expected payback for helping others.
How about those who are purely willing to help and demand no return? They have nothing to lose but all to gain... The friendships they form are true, meaningful and full of surprises.
Perceptions can be changed. You will have a more enjoyable time with your friends when you expect less, for you will learn to fully appreciate what you have and make others around you feel more at ease... (:
